Always Evolving!

Since 1978, Createx Colors has been making water-based paints and coatings. The company's first paint was a student-grade acrylic called "Createx Poster & Fabric Paint". As the paint's performance onto fabric was excellent with a soft-hand feel on fabric, the company's brand was decided as "Createx", being the combination of create & textile. This would later become a hallmark of its "Createx Airbrush Colors" paint launched in the early 1990s.

Createx takes great pride in pushing expectations of what a great paint should be. Utilizing modern water-soluble urethane and acrylic resins, together with lightfast pigments, Createx paints perform as a durable and long lasting as they are brilliant looking. We believe in research & development with a passion. Our goal is to some of the best paints on the planet, and show what can be done with a non-toxic, water-based paint.
New for 2021, Wicked Colors, our multi-purpose, do everything airbrush colors have been expanded to include all the pearls, metallics and special effects from Auto Air Colors. Additionally, new Wicked Opaque Colors have been added, which feature our first ever acrylic-polyurethane airbrush paint out-of-the-bottle.
